Future of Design New York City 2018, Design Workshop
In the Future of Design New York City 2018 conference workshop, participants from a variety of backgrounds worked in teams to generate ideas for the 2019 Winter Stations competition. This annual competition seeks designs that transform a series of lifeguard stations along the waterfront into public art installations. During the workshop, specialists from different disciplines (engineering, architecture, art, fabrication, etc.) provided participants a range of design feedback. The workshop concluded with a design review in which each team presented its refined design and received critiques.
