I am a senior in the School of Engineering at Hofstra University and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.E.) in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in structural engineering. I have worked with Prof. Segal as a teaching assistant for a structural engineering summer camp and as a student aide at the Future of Design Conference New York 2017. I have also worked with other Hofstra professors as a research assistant for projects such as structural health monitoring of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) and the theoretical and experimental verification of an Eddy Current Damper (ECD). Currently, I am interested in working more in the innovative design aspect of civil engineering, and hope to pursue a Master’s degree with a related focus.
