Esther Zhang‘s Senior Thesis/Senior Design project, Resilient, was exhibited from April 4 to 11 in Hofstra’s FORM Gallery and from April 11 to June 3 on the lower level of Axinn Library. In Esther’s words:

“Building a resilient future that adapts to our ever changing world requires resilient building materials. Resilient is made of 3D-printed PLA material that allows the piece to soften when heated and deformed into any form before hardening again. This process can be repeated as times change, applications adapt and styles alter.”
