Our Structural Engineering International article, “A Method for Rapidly Deploying Suspended Footbridges,” was recently published. The method presented in the paper combines pre-fabrication and manual drone flight and enables construction of a rope bridge from only one side of a crossing.  A video demonstrating the deployment of a prototype bridge was featured along with the article.
